Cadet Academy renovation

Creating learning conditions for young people

The building complex of the Kharkiv cadet academy was completely destroyed by a Russian terrorist missile strike in the first week of the full-scale war in 2022. The school was given other premises, which are badly run down and in need of renovation. The renovation work is being done by the school's dedicated teachers themselves, but they need help from our good people to purchase building materials and basic equipment. The materials are bought locally in Ukraine, and every cent goes into renovating the building.

It has been a secondary-level boarding school where children could live and study every day. At the moment, however, the living conditions needed for children to stay overnight are missing, so only local children can take part in classes. The goal is to renovate the building by the start of the new school year to a level where children from farther away can also study and live there. A typical student is a child whose parents are both at the front, or from a family displaced by the war without good living conditions in their new location — so that these children can get a good education and a dignified life.
